Peebles High School Ambassadors

Peebles High School Ambassadors

This week’s ‘Peeblesshire News’ contained a story by S3 student Neil Hobson who reported that “Peebles High School has launched a scheme that aims to promote positive behaviour  by rewarding pupils who set an example not just in class, but in the community as well”.

We are proud of our new Ambassadors but we believe that there are many other young people in our community exhibiting examples of good  behaviour but whose efforts, outside of school, have not been highlighted to us.

It might be anything from being a leader for a sporting team to volunteering in charity shops.  In local clubs and societies pupils are doing brilliant work and don’t always get the credit for how important that work is.

We are asking for members of the community to be involved in the appointment of our next group of Peebles High School Ambassadors. If you wish to nominate a young person for the award please get in touch with the school via email (peebleshs@scotborders.gov.uk)with the student’s name and brief reason why you feel he or she is eligible for this award.
